On the blog!…Good Day Girl with Fifi Milne

On the blog this week…

‘Good Day Girl’, a made to fit; made to order fashion brand in Sydney, were taken on a shopping tour of Queen Street by personal stylist and fashion blogger Fifi Milne.

Rocking a classic ‘Good Day Girl’ white shirt, Fifi answered some styling questions along the way. You can check out the full tour and interview here at ‘Good Day Girl

So, how does Fifi feel about shoes?…

“Shoes maketh the outfit is my motto. My number one rule? Put on shoes before you decide what to wear.  Even in the fitting room I make everyone try on shoes and then decide if the outfit is right. Because when do you go out in bare feet? Never!”

Fifi, we couldn’t agree more!

For the classic pump, celebrities choose Rupert Sanderson!

For the classic pump, celebrities choose Rupert Sanderson! One pair of heels for so many looks, here we show you how to wear your pumps like a celebrity.

The pointy-toe pump is a classic, all occasion heel that never goes out of style. A single pair of Rupert Sanderson pumps can take you absolutely anywhere. We take inspiration from these celebrities who were spotted wearing Rupert Sanderson.

Cate Blanchette, for example, shows us elegance at its finest. For a black-tie event, opt for a classic black pointy-toe pump in a smooth nappa to adorn a chic all black outfit.

For something a little more relaxed, like casual Friday’s or a night at a show, the pointy pump is the perfect way to sharpen your look. Try your fave pair of skinny jeans with a classic shirt or tee. Add a blazer, just as Julia Roberts has done, for a polished look. Same shoes, new look!

Weekends are full of day time events, like weddings, christenings, engagements and lunch with friends. Pair your pumps with a dress for a fun and festive look.

If you find black to dramatic or harsh on you, try a french navy pump instead, as Carolyn Murphy has done here.

A little about Soludos and the cool guy behind it all…

Soludos was founded by Nick Brown in New York City in 2010. Nick was unable to find the traditional rope soled espadrilles he had grown up wearing on holiday along the Spanish Coast. Combining the clink of a glass ‘salud’ and the heat of the sun ‘sol’, Soludos was born.

Espadrilles (from the Spanish word ‘Esparto’ for grass) have been worn in the Pyrenees and along the Mediternanean for centuries. Jute braids are woven together to form soles that breathe.

Soludos are a fresh and modern take on the classic espadrille, designed to be worn for city trekking, beach wandering and everything in between! Celebrities love them, we love them and we know you will love them too!
