Tropical summer…… Rebecca Balducci

After finding this amazing brand in Milan last September, we have been counting down the days until the arrival of another beautifully handcrafted brand called Rebecca Balducci.

Rebecca Balducci is a part of a larger family business in Italy called Parlanti.  Since 1963, Parlanti has been developing quality products to the growing shoe market while keeping up to date with all the socio-cultural developments and fashion trends around the world.

While keeping up with the latest trends, they have created a line bearing the name of their family, Rebecca Balducci. This new shoe collection was designed by Julien Martinez-Calmettes, a young Parisian designer who took over the artistic direction of the Rebecca Balducci brand. In order to keep in line with the company’s traditions, the shoes are manufactured in Italy where craftsmen fabricate all the shoes in the heart of Tuscany.

This first collection is strongly inspired by the fundamentals of menswear bringing out its femininity, elegance and modernity into the stunning collection.

In Milan, I met the very talented Julien Martinez-Calmettes, who showed me the history, background and creative thinking behind this brand.  The first thing that jumped out at me was the quality of the shoes, precise workmanship, beautiful leathers inside and out and stunning classic designs – it was a no brainer for Quincy and our ‘quality-seeking’ clients.

To be the first boutique in Australia to stock this wonderful brand is very exciting.  We have just received our first shipment of brogues and boots with another shipment not far away.

Here is a quick snapshot of what we have in store now…..

Classic brogues…. RRP $390

Ankle boots….. RRP $450
